About the Show
A distress call over a small-town Police radio channel sparks a string of chilling events for the Local Police Department who are trying to keep the town, and themselves, alive.
"The Occurrence in River Oaks is a new voice-acted sci-fi horror audio drama by Nikki Durbin. Follow Olivia, a dispatcher for the Sheriff's office, as she tries to keep things together during a terrifying day in a small town. As officers encounter an unexpected threat and Olivia faces a dangerous creature, everything begins to unravel in 8 intense episodes as the characters must protect River Oaks and the world."

Nikki Durbin
Writer, Director, Producer, Sound Designer, “Olivia”
Writing every episode, crafting the entire storyline, and assembling her cast of some of her closest and most talented friends, Nikki will stop at nothing to see The Occurrence in River Oaks fully realized. She gained respect among her peers for her unique writing style and ability to draw forth powerful emotions with incomparable dialogue and simplistic yet deep stories, and there's no genre she can't write. In her trek towards her goals, she co-founded an entirely female owned production company, Rogue Luna Entertainment, and currently has several film and television projects in various stages of production.
Deanna Kenway
Producer, “Paula”
The original “Rogue Queen” and leader in the founding of Rogue Luna Entertainment, Deanna is never one to shy away from an opportunity. Forming the company with the goal in mind of making the world of entertainment and media more inclusive of all genders, identities and underrepresented groups, she's poised to take the world by storm and singlehandedly brought her creative partners together with a work ethic not easily found. She's appeared in several productions and worked behind the scenes on even more. And in her free time, she's a big nerd who loves fantasy, superheroes, adventure movies and epic stories.

Once Aaron graduated from high school he wasn't satisfied with the idea of playing sports and going to college, so he went against everyone’s advice and went to LA with very little training and no direction. He immediately started booking roles and accelerating in his acting classes with a passion and work ethic most didn't have. His first project to put him on the map was a western series on Amazon Prime entitled Dead Men, as well as several other projects, upcoming films, and his own production company and streetwear brand, DVRST.

Melissa is a prolific actor on stage and screen, having appeared in many productions over the years. An advocate for bringing all different kinds of stories to life and making sure that everyone's voice is heard in the entertainment industry, she's an incredible talent who never misses a chance to share her amazing kindness with those around her. She co-founded Rogue Luna Entertainment with Deanna Kenway and Nikki Durbin, and the three of them have been inseparable as sisters and friends ever since.

Cindy is a talented character actor, writer, director, producer and set designer. She has performed professionally in several plays and directed two in Atlanta over the last 8 years. In 2021 she had her premiere of her film she wrote, directed, produced and starred in, MANUFrACTURED. Her TV appearances include Storm of Suspicion, Snapped, Your Worst Nightmare, Paradise Lost, Morty, Trinket Box, Abiding, The Kelly Talk Show and many more. Upcoming movies Flames Of Love, Mr. Watson, 39 Creepville Manor, and Seven Cities Of Gold to start filming early 2024.

Prior to graduating high school, Joey began a career as a professional wrestler. He wrestled nationwide as a part of Global Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling, and went on to become a successful Atlanta police officer, receiving awards for Meritorious Service, Bravery, Life Saving, and a Special Chief's Award. He has been a lifetime performer and has appeared in films like Remember the Titans and Dumb and Dumberer while still an active police officer. Since his retirement from law he has appeared in over 40 television and film titles ranging from cameo to lead.

Ryan is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Drama Department, and during his studies he also attended master classes at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. After graduation, he moved to his ancestral homeland of New York City, where he performed in numerous off-Broadway productions, many of which were with Left Hip Productions, and has a deep passion for the art of acting. He now resides in Los Angeles, California.

His nature is generous and benevolent, eager to explore new experiences and broaden his horizons.

Heather Foster’s unique voice can be heard in audio and video projects worldwide. Her edgy, textured alto lends itself to projects needing a strong, contemporary, and knowledgeable voice. Heather has appeared on camera in several national commercials and her short film Darlins which she wrote, starred in and produced, is currently in post production.

After spending most of his life working in customer service and management, this Asheville, NC native and Florida transplant is now trying his hand at running a gaming Youtube channel and beginning a career in voiceover. He's a talented voiceover artist with a growing roster of credits to his name.
